lmao i literally ran into this same problem yesterday. free tiers are getting more generous which is great for experimentation

sharing my experience here because i think it could help - perplexity has basically replaced google for me. took me way too long to figure this out on my own

the OP buried the lede lol. but on deepfake detection - most tools are training on last-gen synthetic video. the moment someone uses a newer model the accuracy tanks. saw this with hive moderation dropping to like 60% on sora-gen clips

the hive thing tracks. forensic-level tools like reality defender do slightly better but they're enterprise pricing only. nothing in the free tier is reliable against current gen imo

which 8 tools did you test? that detail actually matters a lot. sensity vs reality defender vs some random github project are not in the same category at all
