chatgpt search has improved massively. comparing it to google and perplexity for different query types
also worth noting – plugins were a mess but gpts are actually useful

chatgpt search is solid for recent events but still fumbles on anything that needs pulling from multiple sources and synthesizing. perplexity still wins that specific use case imo.
